The FLEAC committee FLEAC Advisory Committee is responsible for the curriculum changes. Details and reasons for the changes are summarized on the attached annual report. There currently is no representation on this committee from Braddock, Mt Vernon and Lee Districts. This committee is recommending gender combined instruction in order to be "inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, intersex, and gender diverse students." Starting at age 9 (4th grade) they plan to combine Family Life Education (sex ed) lessons where they had been separated by gender. In addition, the FLE curriculum has replaced the terms "boys" and "girls" with "students assigned female" and "students assigned male" and appear to be adopting all the progressive ideologies that are leading towards gender confusion among adolescents and teenagers. There are spots open for the community participation for this Thursday's School Board Meeting. The last meeting had only one parent advocate and three in person speakers.
