Hello Fairfax friends & neighbors,
If the election last November proved one thing, it's that Fairfax needs something new. Fairfax county alone could shift the state away from the dangerous, liberal nonsense being forced on our communities. A two party system doesn't work if we don't have an active second party. The Democrats dominated the elections with little push back. Everyone needs to join in if we ever want to see things change.
Examples of bad legislation from Fairfax General Assembly members:
VA HD16 (Mt Vernon) Delegate Paul Krizek, who ran unopposed, introduced a bill to "create a retail marijuana market" in Virginia.
VA SD 36 Senator & former FCPS School Board Member Stella Pekarsky introduced a bill requiring all students to obtain a mental health examination prior to participating in athletics.
If you live in Mt Vernon, come check out what you pay taxes for at the Town Hall Meeting tomorrow, Saturday Feb 10th.
Where:Â Mount Vernon High School
When:Â Tomorrow, Saturday Feb 10th
7:45am-1:30pm.
More details can be found HERE.
WANT TO HELP CHANGE THINGS FOR THE BETTER?
1) Volunteer to be a Fairfax Election Officer. Mount Vernon and Franconia (Lee) Districts are especially in need!
2) File to be a Delegate & elect new Fairfax GOP leadership: HERE
The deadline to register is March 16th! Only registered delegates can vote at the convention for new leadership and members of the Fairfax County Republican Party. During the last election roughly 300 Fairfax residents participated in each GOP convention. We need thousands to participate if we want to make things better here.
Qualifications to be a delegate are as follows:
1) Be a resident and voting member in Fairfax County
2) Pledge support for the Republican Party slate of candidates
3) Pay $35 plus $1.36 processing fee = $36.36
*** You do NOT need to be a current member of the FCRC to be a delegate and vote for new leadership
Delegates will vote for:
New Chairman of the FCRC
New Chairmen for the 8th, 10th and 11th CD Conventions
Please share this with your friends and neighbors. We can change things in Northern Virginia if we work together and get involved.
