Fairfax County Update- Open Positions

Hello and Happy 2023!

Our chapter is growing and we are so excited for the opportunity to recruit and endorse new candidates. Fairfax County has 52 positions coming for re-election this year.

Our community badly needs new candidates who will not fall for the radical ideology infused in the One Fairfax policy, which was introduced by Soros backed foundations in 2012. Despite what you may have heard, MOMS FOR LIBERTY IS NEITHER DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN. We will support any candidate who endorses our mission, which is to fight for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.

2023 CANDIDATE OPPORTUNITIES

State Senator, 4 year term - 9 seats

State Delegate, 2 year term - 17 seats

Board of Supervisors, 4 year term, - 10 seats

School Board, 4 year term - 12 seats

Commonwealth's Attorney, 4 year term - 1 office

Sheriff, 4 Year Term - 1 office

Soil and water directors, 4 year term - 3 seats

PRACTICE YOUR PUBLIC SPEAKING AT A SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

Thursday, January 12th there will be two opportunities to speak to the School Board at Jackson Middle School.

1. At 6:00pm there will be a public hearing for the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Click here to sign up for one of the 25 speaking slots.

2. At 7:00pm the Regular bi-weekly school board meeting has 13 in person or video speaking opportunities. Click here to sign up to speak.
   

As a reminder, FCPS is currently in violation of the 2022 Model Policies for the Privacy, Dignity and Respect of Parents and Students. They are requiring staff and students to use names and pronouns chosen by students that may not match their gender (compelled speech), use bathrooms associated with the gender identity (boys in girls bathrooms) and children are being told that gender is assigned versus biological.

In addition, the school board is getting ready to adopt the 2022 Family Life Education Curriculum Advisory Committee recommendations, which can be found here.

The most objectionable changes include:

• Gender Combined Sex ed for 4-8 grade..

• Replace terms 'male/female' with 'individuals assigned male/female at birth'
  

Please speak up and spread the word so we can recruit new candidates who will shift the focus of FCPS back to academics and education and away from indoctrination.
