Greetings Friends!
JOIN US IN RICHMOND
This Wednesday, February 8th at 10am, Moms for Liberty will join the Family Foundation to celebrate Parental Rights Advocacy Day in Richmond.
Join a group of joyful warriors as we stand up for our children and their future.
Register here for free. Bring a friend and enjoy a visit to the State Capitol.
Meet us at 10am in front of the Family Foundation Offices a few short blocks from the State Capitol. Email me directly if you want to carpool or would like to purchase a Moms for Liberty T-shirt to wear at the event. I have a mix of sizes and styles.
Stand with us to fight for legislation that will:
Enshrine Parental Rights in the State Constitution
Create common sense policy for library books, involving parents
Involve parents in counseling and notify if other pronouns/names are being used at school
Promote parental involvement in all aspects of education
SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER CANDIDATES NEEDED
We are still in need of 4 school board candidates (Braddock, Dranesville, Lee (Franconia), and Mount Vernon). Please consider stepping up to run or recommend a strong parent advocate to do so. The deadline to register is June 20th. Information on how to run can be found here.
SCHOOL BOARD MEETING SPEAKERS NEEDED
Please consider speaking at the next school board meeting Thursday, February 9th at 7:00pm. You can register to speak here. The meeting agenda can be found here.
If you're not sure who currently represents you, you can find all of your current school board members here and your local legislators here.
Please consider joining the Moms for Liberty Fairfax County so we can fight together to replace the 12 members school board!
With gratitude and optimism,
Shelly Arnoldi
